It receives more than 5 million passengers a year, which makes it the sixth most visited airport in Spain (measured by the volume of visitors). Located at less than 300 metres away from our hotel and it’s considered to be one of the most important ports of Spain and the world. It’s a constant freight and passenger traffic, both of loading and unloading, from different boats from other islands and cruises (we are home port to many companies!).
This port, located 40 kilometres away and on the other side of the island, is set in one the quaintest spots of Gran Canaria. Its traffic is limited, and mostly exclusive, to Fred Olsen boats coming from other islands (if you travel with them, they’ve got free buses!) which facilitate the traffic of insular passengers and has numerous connections.
